Find your voice - explore your present and future
Confidence: A feeling of self-assurance arising from an appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities.
Fear: an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm.
Much of what stops clients moving forward, I have found, is tied up with a lack confidence and fear coupled with values and beliefs. Your core values are like immovable boulders they are what defines you. They can be uncompromising. Other values may be moveable, can be reframed by challenging your own internal narrative. All of us have tested strategies that served us well once upon a time and those can enable or prevent us moving away from the stuck or toward new desires.
The skill of a coach can help you identify blockages and take steps or strides forward towards your further contentment.
The important lesson to know is that we are all individuals. How we chose to negotiate our path depends on our personality types some like marathons some want to sprint to the finish. There is no right and wrong in how you wish to proceed.
However, if you are not ready for change then wait until it feels write but from one wise person to another, don't let fear rule your decision.
If you are ready for change be ready to have your narrative challenged and enjoy the experience and the journey; it's enlightening.
empowerment: the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights
Feeling undermined; underwhelmed; misunderstood and utterly frustrated? Want to get ahead; but banging up against them instead? Should I stay or should I go?
Writing is my preferred means of expression. It is how I work out life, the universe and those who inhabit it. I negotiate personalities dominant and sensitive as well as other dimensions and worlds I have imagined or those which are real. Writing is how I marry the probable with the impossible and make it readable and immersive. It's how I get to dress up virtually through my characters. I have never acted but I get to immerse myself in somebody else's life through what I write. I can be good, be bad, be happy, be sad but all of the time I show by injecting emotion and empathy. What I have learned from my writing; from opening myself up to being me in my most expressive is that the child's voice is always prevalent. In all that I write a child has a voice; they have their say. It is what comes out in whatever I splash across the page. I always write for the love and the passion and in the hope that my readers will escape for a moment from their own worries, fears and day to day routines.
Everyone has a story; a life to show and tell because everybody is relevant and interesting. As a coach I am well adept at listening and hearing and always without judgement and with oodles of empathy.
